I'm considering a quarter share condo in a mountain tourist town which are managed like a hotel and they rent out on available nights (proceeds can go toward your mortgage).
I'm inquiring about condo fees, municipal taxes, builder rep, but I'm leery about resale potential.
If I decide to sell in 3-5 years, do quarter share properties follow the market trend for value, or are they generally more risky for resale. How comfortable are you with it as a long term investment?
