Wanting vs. Choosing
For almost 30 years I have "wanted" to invest in real estate. I have read books, talked with experts, and even begged people to teach me. Just recently I learned that "wanting" is a guaranteed way of failing. You must "choose" to find the people, and the properties and then go get them.
I am no longer "wanting" things TO HAPPEN but am instead "choosing" to MAKE THINGS HAPPEN. If I "want" a mentor and am told "no" then I do not have a mentor. If I "choose" a mentor and am told "no" then I have over a thousand other mentors to choose from. Do you "want" to do as I have done and waste 30+ years of your life wanting something and refusing to choose to get it?
Colonel Saunders (KFC) did not become a millionare until he was both broke and retired... Looks like I'll have to follow in his footsteps.
